Can I Deposit or Withdraw Money During a Trading Halt?

Yes. A stock trading halt generally does not prevent you from depositing or withdrawing funds from your Raseed account.

A trading halt only pauses the buying and selling of the affected security—or, in rare cases, the entire stock market if a market-wide circuit breaker is triggered. It does not normally interrupt the platform's funding or withdrawal services.

You can continue to use available deposit methods or submit eligible withdrawal requests while a trading halt is in effect, subject to Raseed's standard processing procedures and the applicable payment method you choose. Processing times for deposits and withdrawals remain subject to normal verification requirements, banking processes, and payment network rules.

It's important to remember that while your cash may still be available in your account, you cannot use those funds to purchase a stock that is currently under a trading halt until the exchange officially resumes trading. Similarly, if you were planning to sell a halted stock to fund a withdrawal, you will need to wait until trading resumes and your sell order has been executed before the proceeds become available for withdrawal.

Understanding the distinction between cash movement and trade execution can help avoid confusion during periods of elevated market volatility.
