Troubleshooting Orders
Why did my order fail?

Why did my order fail?

Your order may fail for several reasons. The most common ones are:

  • •Insufficient funds – Make sure your available balance covers the full order amount, including fees.
  • •Price restrictions – Some order types (like limit orders) can fail if the price you set is too far from the current market price or outside allowed variance limits (for example, during pre-market or after-hours trading).
  • •Market hours – Orders placed outside market hours may only execute once the market opens, or may fail if the stock doesn’t trade in pre- or post-market sessions.
  • •Stock trading halt or restriction – Occasionally, trading on a stock may be paused or restricted by the exchange or broker.
