How Can I Change My Email Address on Raseed?
Raseed allows you to change the email address associated with your account through the Security section of the app. Before you can update your email address, your phone number must be linked and verified.
The email change process depends on whether a phone number is already linked to your Raseed account.
If Your Phone Number Is Already Linked
If you already have a linked and verified phone number, you can start the email change process directly from your Security settings.
Follow these steps:
- •Open the Raseed app and tap the Profile icon.
- •Select Security.
- •Tap Email.
- •A Manage Email pop-up will appear.
- •Tap Change Email.
- •Raseed will send an OTP to your registered phone number.
- •Enter the OTP on the OTP Verification screen.
- •Once the OTP is successfully verified, you can continue with the email change process.
The OTP verification confirms that you have access to the phone number linked to your Raseed account.
What If I Don't Have a Phone Number Linked to My Raseed Account?
If you do not have a phone number linked to your Raseed account, you must first add and verify one before you can change your email address.
Follow these steps:
- •Open the Raseed app and tap the Profile icon.
- •Select Security.
- •Tap Email. If no phone number is linked, select Add Phone Number.
- •Enter your phone number and save it.
- •Raseed will send an OTP to the newly added phone number.
- •Enter the OTP on the verification screen.
- •Complete the phone number verification.
Important:The email change process does not automatically continue after your phone number has been successfully verified.
After verifying your phone number:
- •Tap Email again to continue the email change flow.
- •Enter the new email address you want to use.
- •Raseed will send an OTP to your new email address. Enter the OTP in the app to verify your new email.
- •Once the new email address has been successfully verified, it is ready to use with your Raseed account.
Why Do I Need to Verify My Phone Number Before Changing My Email?
A linked and verified phone number is required before you can change the email address associated with your Raseed account.
The phone verification step confirms that you have access to the phone number linked to your account before you proceed with changing your registered email address.
If your phone number is already linked and verified, you can start the email change process from
Profile → Security → Email.
If you do not have a linked phone number, add and verify your phone number first. You will then need to return to the Security section and tap Email again to restart the email change process.
What Happens After I Verify My New Email Address?
After you enter your new email address, Raseed will send an OTP to that email address. Enter the OTP in the app to verify the new email.
Once the verification is successfully completed, your new email address is ready to use with your Raseed account.
This means the email change process requires verification of both the required phone number and the new email address before the new email can be used.
