Are there any fees for depositing Crypto from other platforms?

In most cases, Raseed does not charge a fee to receive cryptocurrency deposits into your Raseed wallet. This means you can transfer crypto from another platform (such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, or a personal wallet) into Raseed without paying a “deposit fee” to Raseed. However, it’s important to understand that blockchain networks and external platforms may still charge transaction fees, which are outside of Raseed’s control. This is common across most crypto trading platforms and digital asset wallets.

Does Raseed charge deposit fees?

No, Raseed does not charge a fee for crypto deposits. If you send crypto to your Raseed wallet address, Raseed will credit your account once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain. This applies to all supported assets and networks available on the Raseed crypto wallet.

Why might I still pay a fee when depositing crypto?

Even though Raseed doesn’t charge a fee, crypto transfers usually involve blockchain transaction fees, and sometimes withdrawal fees from the sending platform. These fees may include:

Blockchain network fees (gas fees):

Crypto deposits are processed through blockchain networks such as:

  • •Bitcoin network (BTC)
  • •Ethereum network (ETH / ERC20)
  • •Tron network (TRC20)

These networks charge a fee to process transactions, which is paid to miners or validators, not to Raseed.

Example: Sending USDT on Ethereum (ERC20) often costs more than sending USDT on Tron (TRC20), due to higher crypto network fees.

Withdrawal fees charged by the sending platform:

Most exchanges charge a withdrawal fee when you transfer crypto out of their platform. This fee:

  • •Is set by the platform you’re sending from
  • •May vary by coin and network
  • •Is deducted from your withdrawal amount

Example: If you withdraw 100 USDT from another exchange, they may deduct a small amount as a withdrawal fee before the funds are sent. This is standard practice across many cryptocurrency exchanges.

How can I reduce crypto transfer fees?

To reduce the cost of depositing crypto into Raseed:

  • •Choose a lower-fee network when available. For example, TRC20 or SOL often has lower fees than ERC20. (Always make sure the network matches on both platforms.)
  • •Check fees before confirming a withdrawal. Most platforms show the fee amount before you complete the transfer.
  • •Send larger transfers less frequently. Instead of multiple small transfers (each with a network fee), fewer larger deposits can help reduce overall crypto transfer costs.

Will I receive the full deposit amount?

In most cases:

  • •Raseed will credit the exact amount received on the blockchain
  • •But the sending platform may deduct fees before sending

So, if you intended to deposit 100 USDT, but the sending platform deducts 1 USDT in fees, Raseed will receive and credit 99 USDT to your account.
