Are crypto deposits instantly available to trade?

In many cases, yes, crypto deposits can become available to trade shortly after they arrive, but they are not always instantly available. Because crypto transactions take place on blockchain networks (such as Ethereum, Tron, and Bitcoin), Raseed must wait for the deposit to receive a required number of blockchain confirmations before it is credited to your wallet and made available for trading.

This confirmation process helps ensure deposits are valid, secure, and irreversible before funds are released.

Why aren’t crypto deposits available instantly?

Unlike bank transfers, crypto deposits are processed on-chain. Each blockchain has its own confirmation speed and security model, which affects how long a deposit takes to become usable.

Your deposit may take time due to:

Blockchain confirmations

A crypto deposit becomes available only after the blockchain confirms the transaction enough times.

Network congestion

Sometimes the blockchain network may be congested, which can slow down confirmations even if the funds were sent correctly. This is common on high-traffic networks such as Ethereum (ERC20).

Incorrect network or token

If the wrong network is used (for example, sending USDT on an unsupported network), the deposit may be delayed, rejected, or not credited automatically.

When will my crypto deposit become available to trade?

Your crypto deposit becomes available to trade once all of the following steps are completed:

  • •You send crypto to your Raseed wallet address
  • •The transaction is confirmed on the blockchain
  • •Raseed credits your wallet after the required number of confirmations
  • •Your balance is marked as available / tradable

Under normal conditions, this process can take a few minutes to a few hours, depending on:

  • •Blockchain network used
  • •Current network congestion
  • •Confirmation requirements

Can my deposit show in my wallet but not be tradable yet?

Yes. Sometimes a crypto deposit may appear in your wallet history but show as:

  • •Pending
  • •Confirming
  • •Not Withdrawable
  • •Locked
  • •Under Review

During this stage, the funds may not yet be tradable until all confirmations are completed and the deposit is fully credited.

How do I check the status of my crypto deposit?

You can track your crypto deposit status using the transaction hash (TXID):

  • •Go to your sending wallet or exchange
  • •Copy the TXID / transaction hash
  • •Paste it into a blockchain explorer to monitor confirmations

If the TXID shows confirmations increasing but the deposit is not credited yet, it usually means the deposit is still processing.

What if my deposit is confirmed but still not available to trade?

If your crypto deposit is confirmed on the blockchain but still not available in Raseed, possible reasons include:

  • •Required confirmation threshold not yet reached
  • •Internal wallet crediting delay
  • •Token or network mismatch
  • •Temporary technical delays

If this continues beyond a reasonable time, contact Support and provide:

  • •TXID
  • •Deposit amount
  • •Crypto asset or token
  • •Network used
